THE RWANDA FILM FEDERATION AND THE RWANDA MEDIA PROJECT HAVE JOINED FORCES TO ENHANCE THE DISTRIBUTION OF RWANDAN SHORT FILMS, THROUGH A PARTNERSHIP WITH T-PORT.
T-Port is a non-profit online platform aimed at promoting films by emerging talent and to facilitate the distribution and circulation of short films within the professional film industry. As an industry tool, T-Port is restricted for professional use – i.e. festival programmers, TV buyers, VOD services, sales agents and distributors that are scouting for short films and talent, as well as producers, talent agencies and young talent promotion bodies, who are searching for their next discovery.

CALL FOR SHORT FILMS
Eligibility:
Requirements:
What is in for you?
The subscription costs are taken in charge, so the upload for you is free of charge.
Once the film is uploaded with all info and images, it will have the opportunity to be scouted by festivals, sales agents, etc. and increase the chances for a sale or a selection. The Rwanda Film Federation and the Rwanda Media Project are not taking any commission on that transaction.
Another advantage of being part of a catalog, is that it acts as a quality label and will increase the visibility of your film on the platform.
Furthermore, it will be a support for your sales agent (if you have already one), your producer, the Rwanda Film Office, etc. to promote your film more easily. The platform is only accessible for professionals. There is no risk of piracy. It has also no incidence on the Premiere status of your film. Cf. FAQ on https://tportmarket.com/about/faq/
Deadline for submissions: first come, first served.
Please note that if your film can be uploaded before the upcoming Berlinale (16/02/23) and FESPACO festivals, it might get more attention.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact films@rwandamediaproject.com
